Precipitation Data Google Maps

GOOGLE MAPS DISPLAY HELP

Use the Map Controls to zoom in (+), zoom out (-), or pan (arrow keys). The map also can be panned by clicking in the map with the left mouse button, holding the button down, and moving the cursor. Click on a station icon and a pop-up window displays the station information, a link to the real-time data, and a table of the precipitation data.

PRECIPITATION TABLE HELP

Click on the column heading to sort the table by that column. The table is initially sorted by "Total" in descending order. Move the mouse cursor over the station name and the station icon will blink on the map. Click on the station name and the station pop-up box is displayed on the map. Use the scroll bar to scroll down the table and display other stations.

Printing Note: This page will not print as it appears on the screen. The printed version is reformatted to fit the page width. The data table will print first, followed by the map on the last page. Please click File > Print Preview to view the printed layout, and choose which pages to print. Internet Explorer (IE) Users: IE does not support printing the semi-transparent NWS precipitation overlays, so they will be removed from the printed map. To print the map as it appears, try a different browser or use a screen capture for an exact copy of the visible screen area.

Missing values are not included in the precipitation totals; therefore, the totals shown may be less than the actual amounts. Some data collected during cold weather may be affected by snow, and errors in water-equivalent values may result. More information about the quality of real-time data is available.
