Water Resources Surface Water Software: Full Equations (FEQ) Model Web Resources

FEQ-USERS Listserv Available by Subscription:

A new mailing list (listserv) has been set up for users of the Full Equations (FEQ) model for unsteady flow analysis in stream networks and control structures. Prof. William James at the University of Guelph has agreed to maintain the list. Other user lists (EPANET-USERS, SWMM-USERS, HEC-USERS, HSPF-USERS, WASP-USERS etc.) that are similarly administered can be found at the website listed near the bottom of this email. FEQ is one of the most fully featured unsteady-flow modeling systems in the public domain. The model was authored and continues to be developed by Dr. Delbert Franz of Linsley, Kraeger Associates, Ltd. of Mountain View California. The U.S. Geological Survey distributes the software and provides other FEQ user resources from the website

The purpose of the FEQ-USERS listserv is to distribute discussion and information regarding FEQ among potentially interested users and software developers. The listserv will be unmoderated (posting to the list will result in email to all subscribers), although postings to the list are subject to the administrator's policies. These policies include: no commercial solicitation or "spamming", avoiding automatic replies from the subscriber's server, and most importantly, ensuring that virus-infected attachments are not forwarded to the list. All email to FEQ-USERS should include a subject line, and attachments should be validated with a description of their contents and relevance, and should not exceed 1 Meg in any case. No subscriber should open an attachment that does not appear valid.

To subscribe to FEQ-USERS send email to:
The body of the message should consist of one line as follows:
