QUADRANGLE: Divernon, 7.5' series

LOCATION: Lat 39 36'49", long 89 41'05", in SW1/4SW1/4 sec. 32, T.14 N., R.5 W., Sangamon County, Hydrologic Unit 07130007, 1.4 mi (2.2 km) downstream from unnamed tributary, 2.0 mi (3.2 km) southwest of Glenarm and 7.5 mi (12 km) downstream from the mouth of Lake Springfield.

DRAINAGE AREA: 57.5 sq. mi. (149 sq. km.)

ESTABLISHMENT AND HISTORY: Established in summer of 1979 as a coal hydrology synoptic study site downstream from mining activity.

GAGE: Reference point is given by two file marks between 2nd and 3rd vertical supports, 40 ft from left side of bridge. Elev. 20.00 ft.

CHANNEL AND CONTROL: Rock riffle at low stages.
