STATION NUMBER: 05573650

QUADRANGLE: Harristown, 7.5' series

LOCATION: Lat 39 47'48", long 89 06'15", SE1/4 sec. 32 T. 16E,R. 1E, Macon County, on downstream harndrail of Lincoln Trail Bridge at Lincoln Homestead Memorial Park near Niantic.

ESTABLISHMENT: March 13, 1978 water quality station.

DRAINAGE AREA: 1054 sq. mi.

GAGE: Type-A wire-weight gage installed on downstream side of bridge. IEPA Site E05.

DISCHARGE MEASUREMENTS: Low-water measurements are made downstream side of gage. Medium and high stages are made from downstream side of bridge.

CONTROl: Gravel bar riffle 95' D.S. Channel controlled at high stages.
