Ghani and Others 1: These two equations were derived based on 163 data sets from three rivers in Malaysia. The authors did not discuss bed forms, but bed loads and suspended loads were measured at the time of data collection. Total sediment transport rates were fairly low (< 17.6 kg/second) except for a couple samples. All discharges were in-bank flows. The discrepancy ratios based on the authors’ data were 0.93 and 1.03 respectively; therefore, their results should be compared before using.
